Buying second-hand clothes is one of the easiest ways to help the planet… and still look good.

THE PROBLEM WITH FASHION:

The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters in the world. Every year, over 300,000 tonnes of clothing ends up in UK landfill alone.

Most of it is still wearable. Still cool. Still has life left.

Buying second-hand can reduce carbon emissions by up to **80%** compared to buying new. It saves water, energy, and keeps perfectly good clothes from being buried in the ground forever.

OUR APPROACH:

We’re not pretending we can save the planet overnight. But rewearing clothes that already exist? That’s a pretty decent place to start.

At THE YRDSALE, every single item is handpicked:

• No mass production
• No restocks
